/ Mitsubishi i compliance now availableMitsubishi i compliance now available30th Jul 2011 Mitsubishi i compliance is now available, the i is a compact kei car with a 660cc turbo engine with the emphasis on excellent fuel economy, low emissions and interesting styling. This is the same car as the soon to be release i-MiEV electric version here in Australia, however with a normal combustion engine. This engine still gets impressive fuel economy but does not have the 100km range limitation of the i-MiEV, and costs about a third of the price. View the link below for it's range of features plus more photos. Models eligible for import:660cc turbo models in rear wheel drive built from 2006 - February 2009 can be imported. Non turbo and 4WD versions cannot.Availability:The Mitsubishi i was quite popular in Japan (in fact it exceeded Mitsubishi's expectations selling 20% more than they had anticipated) so there are many to choose from.Typical pricing:As of mid 2011 prices are usually around the $17,000 mark for a good condition car, by comparison Mitsubishi Australia will be selling the electric i-MiEV version at just under $50,000.Click here for more pics and info about the Mitsubishi i |
