HI Ben,
I picked the Skyline up last Monday. Pretty much as you described with marks & scratches etc, so no surprises thankfully. Actually most of the little marks buffed out, and overall I'm very happy with the condition of the car. BTW it trumps anything for sale here in Brisbane with regards to price, condition and kms (though most were wound back anyway).
So, thanks very much for your help and guidance. I'd have to say everyone on the way was very helpful. Dave compliance was great, same with Barry who transported it there.

This car falls under The J-Spec Mileage Promise. This means the car will come with the original Export Certificate (sometimes referred to as the "dereg" document) which shows recent mileage and dates recorded for this car at the previous mandatory Japanese roadworthy inspections. This paperwork can be used to show that the mileage has not been wound back for sale to deceive you, and you will receive the ORIGINAL documentation for this.
In some cases a car listed here may display the mileage currently on the speedometer but the paperwork suggests otherwise and we will learn this upon getting more information about the car, and we would then inform you. Since you always get the paperwork you will always know if there is a discrepancy, and making sure you always get the correct and true information is why The J-Spec Mileage Promise exists.
