2 cars incl. 2002 Nissan Gloria Gran Tourismo Ultima

Hi Ben,

Picked up the Gloria today. Pretty happy with it so far. So smooth to drive.

So, thanks for all your help. I guess in another 3 years I'll probably want something else, until then thank you, again, and all the best.

Pics and info for:

Audi RS2 Avant wagon

The Audi RS2 Avant was a very limited production sports wagon produced in 1994 and 1995, while there are plenty of positive reasons for the RS2 to be memorable, prime amongst them are the strange bedfellows of Porsche and Audi on this project. Not only did Porsche lend their expertise on making cars go fast, but also their name with Porsche labelling on the engine, and RS2 Porsche badges to the front grille and tailgate. The car has Porsche brakes with wheels styled in keeping with the Porsches of the era.

A high performance inline 5 cylinder 2.2L turbo engine with 20 valves is at the heard of the RS2's road prowess, mated to Audi's Quattro 4 wheel drive system and via a six speed manual gearbox... a very advanced feature for its time. Built by Porsche, the engine output an impressive 232kW (315hp) and makes the RS2 capable of an extremely respectable 4.8 second dash to 100kph from standstill. With the Quattro 4WD system the standing launch to 50kph is a neck snapping 1.5 seconds! Porsche increased the size of the turbo, installed a bigger intercooler and injectors, different cams, an improved exhaust and intake system, and Bosch computer.

Porsche's involvement didn't end with spicing up the engine, they also redesigned the brakes and suspension with Porsche labelled Brembo brakes clamping large disks. Other RS2 unique features include leather Recaro seats, unique RS2 interior trim options and colours, RS2 VDO gauges, a different speedo cluster, a 1.6 inch lower stance, and Porshce 911 turbo rear view mirrors.

Based on an Audi 80 Avant, the RS2 was the very first of Audi's named RS series of vehicles, with RS standing for RennSport, German for "Racing Sport". It is considered by many to be Audi's first foray into building practical cars that also happen to be high performance road weapons.

In total 2,891 units were built however only 180 built in right hand drive making the right hand drive models eligible for import into Australia very rare and collectible beasts. Due to their rare and collectible nature most are still on the road however, and so they can be found.
