Nissan Leaf ZE1 compliance now available

The second generation, current model Nissan Leaf (ZE1 variant) is now available for import. The Leaf is the world's best selling highway speed capable fully electric vehicle (EV) with the newer variant featuring a greater range, better tech and safety features, and level 2 autonomous driving on some models.

Models eligible for import:
All 2017 to April 2019 built ZE1 Leafs are importable. Newer built models are not.
Availability:
The Leaf was extremely popular and thus there are plenty available in Japan, with most currently in near new condition still.
Typical pricing:
As of late 2019 depending on the specifications and year prices are usually between the mid 30's and low 40's landed and complied. Compared with Nissan currently asking around $57,000 for a new Lear, that can be a saving of $10,000 - $20,000.
